Well we had a family photo session with our friend Tara. She has been taking photography classes and she needed a little help with an assignment so we were more the willing to help her out. Especially since Liam was due for new pictures. These were taken March 12th near our home. I love that we live just a few miles from"Main St. Broken Arrow." Its like a time warp. It has such a good ole' town feeling to it. I love going over there and just checking out all the little shops and its right near the pool we go to in the summer. Tara did a fantastic job! I just don't have enough good things to say about how the pictures turned out. I shared a few of my favorites. I swear some people are just born with an eye for this type of art and Tara surely has it!!!! (Tara, thank you so much we love these so much!)

So I know that a lot of you have been seeing Oklahoma and the mid west on the news for weather lately. We are so grateful that we really haven't seen anything too bad. One evening we did have our tornado sirens going off and have experienced a little hail here and there. Nothing compared to what has been happening else where. While I'm so glad all that really nasty weather missed us, its so sad to see all the damage these storms have left. I'll take a hurricane over a tornado any day. At least there are better predictions about hurricanes and you have the chance to get out of the way of it, that isn't an option with tornado's. I must compliment that my son doesn't stirr at all at the sound of a storm. He sleeps right through all of it. Now I can only hope he will stay like that as he gets older.

We just had a great visit with Dan's Mom and sister Kim. We went to the zoo, saw the movie Hop with Liam and Dan and I got a date night in down at the river front. Other then those things we just all sorta hung out and enjoyed the company. Needless to say Dan and I barely got to hold Liam while his Grandma and Sissy were around. Which we don't mind at all! Liam was really into hiding and having people come find him.

So Liam and I are heading to North Carolina for Mothers Day weekend. We are so excited to meet baby Jax and to play with all our little friends back east. Also I'm excited to get back to my family and girlfriends! As much as I love my new Tulsa friends.....there is just something about people who have known you since you were a kid and vice versa. Its like walking back into childhood with them sometimes.

Also great news to share is our good friend Josh Martin is getting married! We are so happy for him and his soon to be wife Kaelee! Love them both and can't wait for their big day this October here in Tulsa. The next happy couple is my twin brother Steven and his fiance Brittney who are tying the knot in November in Delaware.  I will be gaining a sister and a sweet little nephew Jules:)
