So I saw and re posted the above quote on Facebook today and just wanted to share it here as well. Of course we were once a Military family so it just hits so close to home. Sadly my husband has lost more then just one fellow Marine. They are so much more though. They are friends and they are family. Not a day goes by that I don't think about these men, one in particular. Chance Phelps gave his life not only for his Marines he was fighting with that day. It was so much more. He gave me the life I have today as well. Without him I would have never met my husband and I wouldn't have my son. So today and everyday...thank you Chance and all our troops past and present!
I hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July. Its by far my most favorite holiday of the year!
