So we have been having a very eventful weekend and its not over yet! Yesterday we took Liam to the same pumpkin patch that we went to last year. Last fall and this fall all I have wanted was a sweet picture of my little pumpkin playing with pumpkins. Is that too much to ask of a one year old? I think not. Well Liam once again this year had other plans. He seems to hate pumpkins. Freaks out at the sight of them. He screamed bloody murder. The kid will crawl right up to a horse that is what seems like 1000 times his size but heaven forbid you set him next to a pumpkin. This just baffles me. Last year I just thought it was his colic because he just screamed all the time then but apparently he just doesn't care for pumpkins. Last night I even put one of the pumpkins we bought in the living room just to see what he would do. Well he kicked it. I'm hoping that after a few days he will warm up to the idea of at least posing for a picture with pumpkins in our yard. We shall see how that goes. So above is the not so sweet screaming picture of Liam. One good thing will come out of this one day years from now, a guilt trip and an embarrassing moment for Mr. Liam! So after the pumpkin patch we went to the Tulsa Waterfowl Festival. Now don't get too jealous!!! lol There were strange men walking around in camo, lots of waterfowl dogs and tons of duck/goose calls going off. Guess who loved it? Of course Dan did but Liam did as well. All smiles and giggles for all that chiaos but I guarantee you if someone had had a pumpkin Liam would have flipped out! All I have to say is Liam's next unborn sibling had better be a sister in a few years!!!!

I, for one, love the photo! It's so crazy how kids have their own, innate set of likes and dislikes. I take it Liam will not be dressing up as a pumpkin this year....
