Our New Home:)

So we are the proud new owners of a new home!!! Our offer was accepted last night verbally and then we were off to the realtor's office to sign the contract. Closing date is set for July 10th. The home is 3 bedrooms with 2 baths and has an office that could be a 4th bedroom. It has a large spacious eat-in kitchen and nice sized pantry. There is an awesome gas fireplace in the living room that I am already thinking of how to decorate for the holidays. Gus is looking forward to his new nicely landscaped back yard and hoping for more friendly doggy neighbors then he currently has. (Yes the rotten rottweiler is still barking next door to our current residence!!!) So between now and the time I head home to the OBX and NY I have a lot of packing to get done so its not so crazy when I get home. I'm very excited to be able to pick colors out for the baby nursery and make it just how I want it. I was very happy that Dan loved this house just as much as I did. He can be a tough one to sell things to sometimes...can you tell who is the more responsible one?!?!? Just kidding, well sort of:) Our realtor was the most excited for us, she is just too cute. She nick-names all her clients and we are the "little pregnant" ones. She was just so tickled to tell us our good news. She has been wonderful in helping us find the right house for us. If anyone needs a great realtor in Tulsa let us know!!! So today I will be off to start looking at a few appliances and paint colors. This is the part I am truly looking forward to and Dan could care less about as long as I don't break the bank...once again look at who the more responsible one is...lol. So let the packing begin! (again.)
