Well Liam is officially a 1 year old. He seemed to really enjoy his birthday, not that he knew what was going on other then there were new toys and cupcakes!!! Since Liam had his first cupcake a few weeks ago when Grandpa was here, he was a pro and decided to do things "hands free." I guess that he thought it would be less mess, well at least in the beginning. Our good friends the Judd family and Josh Martin came to celebrate with us. We had pizza for dinner and made the little guy the center of attention. I must say his small little party seemed perfect. I would have loved to have had our families with us, but I think anything more then what we had would have overwhelmed Liam. He was so excited to see all his new toys this morning. Our living room presently looks like a toy store. I need to go through his toys and put away the "baby" toys since now my "baby" is a "toddler." How again has this year already passed?!?!?
On another note, good luck to all our Outer Banks friends and family as they are about to take on Hurricane Earl. I am so nervous and I don't even live there anymore. I don't even get this nervous when we are under tornado warnings here in the spring....
Happy Birthday Liam! Sounds like he had a great party. Can't believe you have to put away the baby toys.... it goes by too fast!
