Seriously?!?!?! Ugh!

So today I get a medical bill in the mail for Dan that was for $231.00. I've been expecting a bill for $5.00 from them because for some reason Dan and I can never remember what our co-pays are for our insurance. This shocked me because we have really great health insurance and don't normally owe anything. It only cost us $75.00 to have Liam lol. Well luckily I keep and file all of my families insurance statements. I go digging through and find the statement I need. Our insurance already paid them. Score for me! So I call the doctors office to make sure this can all be straighted out. After being on hold for some time a lady tells me its clients confidentiality that they can't tell me anything pertaining to a patient unless I'm the patient. I'm like seriously?!?! Its a billing question and oh by the way I know why he was there, he had a cold. I mean I could see them not telling about his appointment, but billing??? So not that we owe them anything since our insurance paid it but if we did...it would take them a heck of a lot longer to get their money if my husband was in charge!!! Its just so annoying that a spouse can't take care of a billing issue! What is the world coming to???
