In Need of Some Well Wishes...

So today Liam went to the ENT to have his ears checked since we've had more then a few ear infections and we are a little behind with speech.(Yet above and beyond for motor skills.) I'm really glad I pushed at his 2 year check up to go see an ENT because low and behold he has some hearing loss due to poor pressure in his ears from fluid on his ears. His doctor believes the real problem is his enlarged adenoids causing pressure on his ears and not letting them drain the way they should naturally. So Liam is getting tubes in his ears and his adenoids removed. It's a little bittersweet because on one hand I am glad we found the issue behind him not really talking, but on the other hand he is having surgery. For the record I will be a nervous wreck between now and the 19th when we have the procedures done. I know both procedures are very common now a days but still! That's my little baby! So please keep Liam in your thoughts and prayers that he has a safe and helpful surgery!!!! And hopefully this crazy Mama doesn't try and jump another nurse at the children's hospital again like when we had RSV early last year;) I don't like seeing my baby poked and stuck with unnecessary needles!!!
