The Biggest Tuesday of My Life...

So Dan and I have big news! If William Sullivan doesn't debut on his own by Monday night I'm getting induced. Dan and I went in for the weekly checkup on Wednesday (39 weeks) and everything was looking fine other then the fact I was still only 1cm. My doctor asked me if I wanted to be induced if I were to go past my due date and I very quickly said yes and explained to her that I am very "over" being pregnant at this point. So we did a quick ultrasound and then met her in her office to find out when we could get in at the hospital for a scheduled induction. My options were Tuesday, Thursday or Friday with my actual due date being Wednesday. We picked Tuesday not only because it was the first option, but also because the following weekend after those days is Labor day and for really no reason at all I just don't want to spend Labor Day in labor or in the hospital. Plus my Mom is going to be traveling first to come see the new bundle of joy and I didn't want her to have to deal with a holiday weekend traveling. (She is coming into town tomorrow night.) So it looks like by dinner time on Tuesday William will be here and we couldn't be more excited. I have another check up on Monday morning and there is a slight chance we could be heading into the hospital Monday evening, but if given the option I think I would rather wait for Tuesday morning and attempt to get in one more nights rest. (If you call waking up every two hours anyhow rest...lol at least its rest in my own bed.) So everyone keep your phones on and be ready for the phone calls to start.
