Baby Robertson is a BOY!!! Let me just start by saying I thought my husband was going to fall on the floor at the doctors office, he was so convinced that it was a girl...lol. At least one of us wasn't as sure as Daddy was. So much for the fatherly intuition...just kidding. As I said before, we are not certain on a name. We are tossing around a few and they are all family names. So trust me this baby certainly will not wind up with a name like "Apple" or anything crazy. As soon as we started the sonogram I asked what the heartbeat was....which was 158, a wise tale says that's a boy. So of course yesterday I was Googling sonogram pictures of boys and girls to know exactly what to look for. I saw it before our doctor said a word. I just watched my husbands face as the doctor explained to Daddy, "here is one leg, and the second leg.....and the third..." Dan just said "it's a boy?!?!?!" and the doctor said that indeed he was. Unfortunately we only got one picture of little Mr. Robertson's face today, I go back in a few more weeks for more detailed sonograms so more pictures are to come shortly. Now being the planner that I am I already have a few ideas for a nursery theme....I'm thinking patriotic or because of Daddy, waterfowl...but no camo!!!! Neither one of us are really into the baby blue stuff. One of my long time friends Alex Harris, (who was a bridesmaid of mine to those of you that do not know her) is about 3 weeks ahead of me and she is also having a boy. Of course our boys will have to carry on our tradition of friendship, hopefully they do not get into half the stuff we did...lol. Most importantly our little boy seems to be healthy and full of energy already, he was not still to say the least during the sonogram.
